Campaign Story

Hi , we are the Zara’s . We are starting this fundraiser in Faith for restoration . Our hearts are planted in  furthering the gift and honor of building a family. As a young girl my true hearts desire was to be a wife and mother . A keeper of my home , providing a place of retreat to grow together .

We were married in 2012 .

Our journey began in 2011 with an under , then overactive thyroid. I was told I would not be able to carry a pregnancy . Fast forward 2014 , I received the gift of salvation , full healing and deliverance from this lifelong diagnosis, by the grace of God .
We became pregnant with our first child. After her birth , 5 months later I became pregnant with our second child . Our children are 13 months apart to the day .

In 2015 after the delivery of our second child I went to my 6 week postpartum appt . A new mom to 2 in just over a year , a full heart , but a vulnerable state , age 23 .

The doctors focus was to not let another pregnancy happen after the back to back babies. As if growing a family was a shame, something to be stopped .

Standing in my shoes at 23 with 2 under 2 my heart was content, I held two prayers in my hands, my children . I took the option offered to remove my fallopian tubes , not fully assessing this very permanent option. No prior counseling was given , no wisdom was sought ; just a surgery date on the calendar .
I am 30 now; hopeful for restoration.
Our options are plenty , but we are prayerfully seeking the direction to which we’ll take . We recognize the path to rebuilding a family this way is expensive , wether through adoption , IVF etc ;and need your help.
We ask for any donations to go towards this restoration of family ,  in early 2024.
We are thankful for the body of believers who will lift us up in prayer and carry this sorrowful burden with us .
